This archived list of beers is the ultimate showcase of our experimental growth and brewing journey. Since the beginning of Faculty in 2016, we've come a long way! Just because a beer is archived, doesn't mean we'll never make them again, but as we're a small brewery, we can only have up to eight beers on the go at once.

Our most approachable beer takes you back to the basics. This lager is crisp and fresh with pleasant herbal, earthy and floral overtones from the Saaz hops.

LEICHTBIER, 25 IBU
A Leichtbier is a German-style light lager with a low ABV% and body while maintaining substantial crackery European malt character and zesty, earthy hop character.

Our first lager brewed with malt from Patagonia, Chile. This crisp and fresh lager is typical with pleasant herbal, earthy and floral overtones from the Saaz hops.
BLONDE ALE, 20 IBU
This easy-drinking blonde is crisp and refreshing with a creamy head and a sweet finish.
KOLSH, 20 IBU
Kölsch is a German beer style that's light and crisp, similar to a lager, fermented with a strain of ale-type yeast originating in Cologne.
DRY-HOPPED LAGER COLLABORATION WITH ALIMENTARIA MEXICANA, 25 IBU
This refreshing Kolsch has a delicate fruit and sweet aroma from the lagering stage of the German Ale Yeast.

Our take on the Czech Pilsner. Subtle earthy and citrus notes from the Sterling hops.
CREAM ALE, 22 IBU
Smooth and crushable cream ale infused with Wize Coffee's Mango Party Coffee Leaf Tea. Aromas of mango with citrus notes from Mandarin Bavaria hop.
SINGLE MALT SINGLE HOP WITH WET CASCADE, 45 IBU
1830 Ontario Street & 1830 Powell Street collaboration. A crushable and quenching mouthfeel, floral & citrusy aroma balanced with a malty backbone.
FESTBIER/ GOLDEN LAGER, 25 IBU
This golden German-style lager is inspired by beers consumed in one-litre steins in Munich during the first couple weeks of September.
AMBER LAGER, 18 IBU
This refreshing lager boasts delicious malty flavours with a hint of caramel. Floral hop notes and mild bitterness balance out this beer, resulting in a straightforward drinking of red lager.
ENGLISH-STYLE PALE ALE WITH FIR TIPS, 12 IBU
This collaboration with Mayne Island Brewing is a super fresh, pale ale that celebrates the terroir of the Pacific Northwest.
FRUITED ALE, 10 IBU
This beer showcases one of BC's native fruits. The result is an intensely red-purple hue with a grape-candy-like aroma and a tart finish.
MINT HEFEWEIZEN, 09 IBU
This hazy wheat beer is brewed with peppermint tea, giving it a refreshing taste and a smooth finish.
AMERICAN PALE ALE, 15 IBU
This American Pale Ale is light and refreshing, brewed with a single-malt base of Canadian two-row barley malt, on which we are showcasing two unique hop varieties - Talus & Idaho 7.
TEA-INFUSED AMBER ALE, 25 IBU
This Amber Ale, brewed with Tibetan tea, is made in collaboration with O5. The brew's caramel, biscuit, and citrus notes blend perfectly with fruity, earthy, and woody notes from Tibetan tea.
FRENCH SAISON, 21 IBU
This hazy brew showcases the delicious and complex flavours of Fermentis BE 134 yeast, with Golding hops providing flowery notes. Wheat and Münich malt lend aromas of fruit and spice.
FRENCH SAISON + GINGER, 21 IBU
A French-style Saison with notes of clove complemented by adding local, fresh-pressed ginger juice. A spicy twist on this classic style.
SOUR WHEAT ALE, 16 IBU
This is our version of a Berliner Weise with a little more punch. This beer is a kettle-soured wheat ale with a pleasant tartness and notes of citrus.

BELGIAN-STYLE TABLE BEER, 14 IBU
They are fermented on crushed coriander and mandarin juice using a yeast strain originating from a Belgian Trappist monastery. Citrus, clove, and bubblegum aromas mingle perfectly with a light and spritzy body.
