FRUITED ALE
This beer showcases one of BC’s native fruits. Blackcurrants are heavily tannic and tart. We brewed a full-bodied, soft, and sweet base beer to counter the intensity of over 30kilos of blackcurrants, with a hop selection that complements herbal, berry-like notes. The result is an intensely red-purple hue, with a grape-candy-like aroma and a tart finish.

Alcohol Content: 5.0% ABV

Bitterness: 10 IBU

MASH STEPS.

Mash: 67°C, 60 min

FERMENTATION.

18°C for 4 days, then free rise to 22°C

CONDITIONING.

50lbs Blackcurrant Puree
