222 FIR TIP PALE ALE
ENGLISH-STYLE PALE ALE
This collaboration with Mayne Island Brewing is a showcase of local ingredients. We started with Skagit Valley Malting’s Talismann True British malt, which contributes a wonderfully earthy and nutty maltiness. We then added Centennial, Cascade, and Styrian Celeia hops, and fermented on vitamin C-rich fir tips, foraged from Mayne Island, B.C. The result is a super fresh, pale ale that celebrates the terroir of the Pacific Northwest.
