MEXICAN LIME SOUR

This is a fusion of styles: inspired by both a classic Mexican light lager, and a citrus-forward kettle sour, this beer was fermented with kveik yeast and conditioned on lime zest and lime juice. Expect aromas of citrus fruit and banana, a tart lemon-lime punch up front, and a crispy clean lager-like finish.

INGREDIENTS - 10 GAL.

10.8lbs Canadian Pilsner Malt

2.5lbs Flaked Corn

1pkg Krusher Kveik

1.5oz Mandarina Bavaria - WP

2 limes – Zest & juice - Post-fermentation

Alcohol Content: 4.3 ABV

Bitterness: 5 IBU

MASH STEPS.

65°C, 60 minutes

40°C, 24-36hrs until pH reaches 3.5

​
