Just in time for Christmas, Milano Coffee Roasters and the Faculty Brew Team are stoked to release our second collaboration coffee beer: 689 Coffee Porter.
This porter boasts toasted malt flavours, perfectly complemented by the addition of one of Milano Roasters' premier “Black Series” coffees, Black Beauty. Get ready for rich notes of cocoa, caramel, and toffee.
For this brew, we add Milano's Black Beauty in whole bean form into the beer, post-fermentation. This is a very similar process to dry-hopping a beer. We leave the beans in for 48 hours, giving the beer its delicious coffee flavour.
